Restoring Faith : The Zion Project

We wanted to mention this project in particular because of its complexity. The Zion Lutheran Church in Brighton, Colorado acquired our photo restoration services to update their photographic history display. The display consists of three frames containing past and present church leaders, and church buildings. 53 of the 81 images required restoration. Many were damaged, discolored, or retained a print reproduction pattern from years past that obscured the subject matter.

All original photographs were removed from the frames and scanned in high resolution by the Zion Historical Guild, then transferred to us for the restoration project. All 81 images were restored or cleaned up, sized for printing, and archived to a CD for the church.

The Zion Historical Guild is a committee of church members: Jennifer Hays, Terree Arthurs, Connie Haiar and Linda Jensen. They were responsible for the extensive planning and execution of this project which took several months to complete all phases. The Guild allowed a generous time frame for us to complete the restoration and printing portion of their project, and were great to work with regarding changes that arose.
